Deepak Kannan
Deepak Kannan joined Platts in March 2012 and was named Managing Editor, Asia Pacific, Thermal Coal in November 2013. His team produces daily newsletters, real-time and market-moving news in the Asia-Pacific region.
Prior to joining Platts, he worked as an editor with Thomson Reuters in both Bangalore and Singapore for six years.
He holds a Master’s Degree in Mass Communication from Bangalore University and has a Bachelor’s degree in Science.
